Started throwing some numbers around:
Dhaka, Bangladesh is 11 hours ahead. ie: 3 pm Michigan time = 2 am Dhaka time
Kunming, China is 13 hours ahead. ie 3pm Michigan time=4 am Kunming time
Average daily high currently in Dhaka=85-90 degrees
Average daily high currently in Kunming= 60 degrees
Low for Dhaka- 65 degrees
Low for Kunming- 40 degrees
We will travel over 17,000 miles in this journey- possibly closer to 18,000- wow!!!
We leave on the 18th of November but don't arrive in Dhaka until the 20th.
We leave Dahka in the wee early hours of Dec. 1st and arrive in Grand Rapids at 11:30 at night on the 1st. How crazy is that?
Children's home in Dhaka: 400 kids and 50+ staff on a 4 acre parcel
Kunming population: 6.2 Million souls
